GENERAL REGISTRATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

EXHIBITORS ONLY

Exhibitor Contract: Submission of the Exhibitor Registration Form, along with full payment for booth space and confirmation of registration constitutes a contract to use the assigned exhibit space. Exhibitors agree to conform to rules, regulations and guidelines established by Conference Organizers and outlined in the Exhibitor Manual.

Benefits: Your exhibitor package entitles you to the following benefits.

• 10’ x 8’fully carpeted exhibit area with:
• 8’ high back drapes
• 4’ high side drapes
• 8’ skirted table
• 2 chairs
• 1 wastebasket
• daily janitorial services.

• Listing in the final conference program
• Post-conference delegate list
• Exhibitor manual outlining operating rules and general information
• Individualized name badges
• Security for non-show hours (exhibitors are responsible for having their booths attended during move-in and move-out)
• On-site Show Service Personnel for electrical, furniture rental and other booth services
• 1 complimentary ticket to Business Leaders’ Lunch
• 1 complimentary ticket to Harvest Supper (additional tickets available at $90 each)

Booth Specifications: No exceptions will be made to outlined booth specifications unless previously agreed by the Conference Coordinator.

Tables: If you are unable to attend the conference, unattended tables are available to display your promotional literature. Tables will be skirted and draped. ABIC organizers will ensure your table area is maintained and refreshed on a regular basis. Conference management reserves the right to determine what is acceptable promotional material. Materials will not be returned.

Exhibitor Manual: Exhibitors will be sent the Exhibitor Manual upon receipt of full payment and confirmation of registration.

Certificate of Insurance: Exhibitors must submit a certificate of insurance. Refer to the Exhibitor Manual for details.

Certificate of movement is required.

DELEGATES / EXHIBITORS

Academic and Student Delegates: You must provide verification of academic or student status to qualify for the Academic or Student rate.

Cancellation Policy: Delegates and exhibitors who cancel one month prior to the conference in writing, post-marked on or before August 15, 2002 will receive a full refund less a $150 (inclusive of GST) administration fee. After August 15, 2002, no refunds will be issued.

Group Discounts: Full Conference Delegates are entitled to group discounts.
• 10% for 3 to 5 delegates
• 15% for 6 or more delegates
Group discounts apply only to Full Conference Regular Rate of $800. Not to be applied in conjunction with ANY other discount. EACH delegate must complete a separate form. All forms to be submitted together in order to qualify for group discounts. Delegates qualifying for the group discount may submit one payment for all registrations.

GST Refunds for Non-Residents: International exhibitors and delegates are eligible for a refund of the Goods & Services Tax (GST). Contact Canada Customs & Revenue Agency’s GST Office (1-800-668-4748 in Canada OR 1-902-432-5608 outside Canada) for a GST rebate application. The ABIC 2002 GST Registration # is: 12313 5303 RT0002.

Substitutions: ABIC 2002 will allow substitution of delegates with written notification to the Conference Coordinator. Substitution notifications must be received by September 8, 2002.

ABIC 2002 offers a single flat rate for exhibitor booths. This fee includes fully carpeted area, chairs, and daily janitorial services.

Booth (10 ft by 8 ft): $1,337.50
*Unattended Table (6 ft): $ 267.50

Exhibitor 1/2 Day Delegate Rate: $ 150.00
