Dr John Bedbrook announced for Keynote Address
John Bedbrook, who is at the forefront of molecular breeding
internationally, has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at ABIC 2012.
Dr Bedbrook is vice president DuPont Agricultural Biotechnology and
leader of biotechnology research efforts at DuPont business Pioneer
Hi-Bred. Pioneer Hi-Bred is the world’s leading developer and supplier
of advanced plant genetics, providing high-quality seeds to farmers
around the world.
Bedbrook, an influential expatriate New Zealander, says New Zealand is
“an exciting hub for agricultural biotechnology given the quality of
research carried out there, the level of entrepreneurship and the
country’s position as a major food producer”.
