  • Chair, sub-committee for Collaboration Between Food and Agriculture, Israeli National Nutrition Security Council


What initially sparked your interest in the life science industry?

The chance to make a difference and the complexity of inter and intra relations between so many disciplines.


Which leader in life science do you most look up to? 

The Nobel Prize winner, Professor Ada Yonath, who was also my teacher during my graduate studies.


What advice do you have for anyone pursuing a career in life science? 

Study something else such as physics, computer science, chemistry and then find out how to use it in life sciences research.


What do you do in your spare time? 

So many things with so little time, mostly hiking.

What do you most value in your friends? 

Simple friendship, creativity, open-mindedness.

Which superpower/talent would you most like to have?

Super memory with super high access speed to memories.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

There are still too many years ahead to decide.

Which living person do you most admire?

Admire is a big word, I would say Stephen Hawking.


Who are your heroes in real life? 

Certainly my wife, Yitzhak Rabin, David Grossman and Simone Biles.
