Biography

Ray Bouchard is the President and CEO of Enns Brothers Ltd, a $330M farm equipment dealer located in the Province of Manitoba. He is also board chair of the Enterprise Machine Intelligence and Learning Initiative, a CEO-led not-for-profit, combining Canada’s strengths in agriculture and artificial intelligence and machine learning.
 
Ray has been involved in the agriculture sector for over 35 years and has worked diligently at giving back to the community and the industry. Ray served as a director and president of the Canadian Association of Agricultural Retailers and is a long-standing member of John Deere’s Dealer Advisory Group, providing input and guidance on numerous strategic and operational issues for John Deere across North America.
 
In 2016, Ray joined the Enterprise Machine Intelligence and Learning Initiative (EMILI) and agreed to be chair of the founding board. The board established a bold vision for the future of EMILI, to create the most advanced agricultural economy in the world through the embedding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) into new and existing business lines. Ray’s passion and vision for the future of agriculture in Canada is ambitious and pervasive as he sees the long-term benefits for Canadians, the economy and the environment. He believes that Manitoba is the right place to establish and launch the EMILI initiative.
