Planning is underway in China for ABIC 2018!
ABIC 2018 will be held in Weifang City, Shandong Province, China, from September 15 to 18, 2018, co-organized by Peking University and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. This is the second time ABIC will be held in Asia; ABIC 2009 was hosted by Thailand.  

The ABIC 2018 co-chairs are Xing Wang Deng, Dean of the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, Peking University, and Jianmin Wan, Vice-President of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 

Zhihong Xu, former president of Peking University, Jiayang Li, former president of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and 10 preeminent scholars will guide the organization of the conference. 

The conference is expected to attract over 1,000 people, including about 500 international guests. Professor Deng says, “This will be a grand academic feast! The conference is tentatively scheduled for six plenaries and 30 symposium sessions. More than 120 scholars are expected to attend the conference and give wonderful presentations to discuss the latest research situation and promote the development of agricultural biotechnology.”
